Pan-American
Highway
is a 30.000 km long highway system that extends from Prudhoe Bay, Alaska to Ushuaia, Argentina. This research project focuses on its ideological, cultural and physical manifestations in different scales and in different time frames. It focuses on the highway as an imaginary apparatus in relation to the failed construction of Pan-American identity.
